It has taken longer than expected, but I'm happy to announce Mini Medieval Desert v2.0! This update brings Mini Medieval's desert environment to life with a host of animations, as well as new tiles! This includes things like, animated units, animated animals, animated water, animated interactables, and so much more! You can find the full (and lengthy) list below in the section called "Changes". Also checkout the mockups to see some of these new tiles and animations in action!

Additions seen above, mining unit, ore breaking, wasp swarm, and vulture pecking/idle.


Changes


  • Added idle, run, walk, march, sit, laugh, yes, and no animations for every unit type (units).
  • Added weapon, and tool animations for all relevant unit types (units).
  • Added punch animation for commoner unit type (units).
  • Changed unit sprite sheet organization to make it easy to understand with animations (units).
  • Added idle, sit, and walk animation for most animal types (animals).
  • Changed a few animal base sprites to help with animating, rabbit, elephant, snake, etc (animals).
  • Changed animal sprite sheet organization to make it easy to understand with animations (animal).
  • Added shine and break animation for all ore/rock types (environment).
  • Added break animation for all pots/vase types (environment).
  • Added two different rising and falling animation for water (environment)
  • Added falling water animations for waterfall (environment)
  • Added water rising and falling animation for bridges, and walls (environment).
  • Added pattern variations for sandstone floor blocks (environment).
  • Added new building roof colors for all kingdoms (environment).
  • Added new tent top colors for all kingdoms (environment).
  • Added door open/close animation for all door types (environment).
  • Added fire animation for both fire pit sizes, and torches (environment).
  • Added multiple pyramid damage tile variations (environment).
  • Fixed a few missing pixels, or extra pixels.
  • Changed various other sprite sheets to be better organized.
  • Changed all documented sheets to match the relevant changes.

any autotile compatibility with Tiled?

Not sure! I'll look into this series and see if it is possible for me to make it compatible. Cheers!
