However, I noticed fairly late in being set on this aesthetic that these tiles are 16x16, and not 8x8. So I've mangled your beautiful art to fit into 8x8 sprites.

Look at the license under the "More Infomation" section. You can just use these, no questions asked, even in a fully released game. Just give me some credit and we will both be nice and happy :)

Nope, it is just some platformer assets with no game. If I ever get back into game dev I might use one of my packs, no idea if it would be this one or not.

I enjoy both, but yeah the art side is probably what I enjoy more. I just find I have more time for art than I do the development side.

Yeah, check under the "More Information" section to see that. My goal was, and still is to do lots of free and CC0 assets. Was hoping to make enough from Patreon to keep doing that, but sadly so far Patreon support has been small.

Love this asset pack, used it again for a gamejam this week for my Brackeys 2021-2 Game.
Ran into the same thing as last time where I wish I had time to add more enemies and use more animal sprites. For this one, I wanted carrots popping out of the ground, scorpions hopping around, and snakes raining from the sky but ran out of time.
Still decently happy with where the project ended up though, thanks again for this asset pack.
