After many months of on and off work Mini Medieval v2.0 is here! This update brings Mini Medieval to life with countless animations, as well as a handful of new additions. You can expect to see, animated water, animated flags/banners, animated units, animated animals, and so much more! To really get a full understanding of what all has been added please see the "Changes" section below (oh, and don't forget to look at all these fun new animated mockups)!

I hope you enjoy, you can expect to see the remainder of this series animated in the near future, cheers!

Additions seen above, unit idle animations, unit run animation, unit attack animation, animal idle, and animal hit animation.


Changes


  • Added idle, run, walk, march, sit, laugh, yes, and no animations for every unit type (units).
  • Added weapon, and tool animations for all relevant unit types (units).
  • Added punch animation for commoner unit type (units).
  • Added color variations for each kingdom color for kingdom specific units (units).
  • Changed unit sprite sheet organization to make it easy to understand with animations (units).
  • Changed a few animal base sprites to help with animating, bear, eagle, opossum, etc (animals).
  • Added idle, sit, and walk animation for most animal types (animals).
  • Added a few misc unique animations for cat, and eagle (animals).
  • Changed animal sprite sheet organization to make it easy to understand with animations (animal).
  • Added blow in the wind animation to all banners and flags (environment).
  • Added a chest open/close animation (environment).
  • Added shine animation for all ore types (environment).
  • Added two different rising and falling animation for water (environment)
  • Added animated waves and whirlpool for water (environment)
  • Added blow in the wind animation to all sail sizes (environment).
  • Added windmill rotation animation (environment).
  • Added chimney smoke animation to all chimney sizes (environment).
  • Added door open/close animation for all door types (environment).
  • Added fire animation for both fire pit sizes (environment).
  • Added new minecart rail, and minecart angles (environment).
  • Added water rising and falling animation for bridges, and walls (environment).
  • Fixed a few missing pixels, or extra pixels.
  • Changed all documented sheets to match the relevant changes.
  • Changed various other sprite sheets to be better organized.
